Booking terms
By submitting the booking form on this website you make a binding booking and conclude with Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik) a contract for the chosen service at the booked time. It is a contract concluded at a distance. Right after submitting, we show you a confirmation with the details on screen and send it to your email if you gave one (otherwise by SMS, if the business sends them).
By submitting you ask us to provide the service at the chosen time even if it falls within the 14-day period for withdrawing from the contract. Once the service has been fully provided, your right to withdraw ceases. Information and a model form are below in the section “Withdrawal from the contract within 14 days”.
The price of a service follows the price list published on this website; the price valid at the moment of booking applies. You pay on site at your visit, unless you agree otherwise with the business.
You can cancel your booking yourself using the cancellation link in the confirmation email, or through the contact details given above.
You can cancel online up to 24 h before the appointment, after that please contact us.
Watching for an earlier slot. If you tick “I want to know if an earlier appointment frees up.” with your booking, your appointment stays as it is and we additionally watch whether anything frees up before it. If it does, we email you an offer to move – you decide whether to move or keep your original appointment. A moved appointment is still the same one; no second booking is created. The offered slot is not held for you: others waiting for it get the offer too and it goes to whoever clicks first. We send an offer at most 1× a day. The watching ends when your appointment starts, when you cancel it, or at any time using the “Stop watching for an earlier slot” link in the confirmation email. Watching has no effect on your booking and costs you nothing.
Waiting list. If you cannot find a free slot, you can join the waiting list: you give us the service, a range of days and your contact details, and as soon as a slot frees up in that range we email you. The details from the entry are used only to contact you when a slot frees up; the controller is Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik) and the Bienaro platform processes them technically on its behalf as a processor. The entry is not a booking and no slot is held for you: others waiting for a slot that frees up get the offer too (at most 10 people at a time) and the booking goes to whoever clicks first. One entry gets at most 3 offers a day; we do not send offers at night. An offer is valid until someone else takes the slot, but for no longer than 24 hours and no later than the start of the slot. The entry is valid until the end of the range of days you chose and you can leave it any time using the link in every message. We delete the entry itself 30 days after it ends (when the range expires, when you leave it or when you book); your name and contact details stay with us for the period stated below in the section on how long we keep data. You ask for this processing yourself, so we need neither your consent nor a legitimate interest for it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract). Please do not put health details in the note.
An overview of your appointments. The “My appointments” page on this website takes you to the overview on bienaro.com, where you sign in with your phone number and a code sent by SMS; the overview is run by the operator of the Bienaro platform (see “Bienaro client account” below). An appointment we booked for you ourselves is first shown there only as a question with our name, the day and the time, and in full only after you confirm it. If this website accepts online bookings only from regular and invited clients, we verify you before booking with a one-time link and a code valid for 15 minutes, which we send you by email (or a code by SMS). We do not store the code in readable form and the link works only once. Your browser remembers the verification for 30 days; it is a functional cookie necessary for a service you asked for yourself. We use the email address or phone number you enter only to deliver the code and to find your client record.
These terms also cover Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik) emailing you when it is time for your next visit and offering you a follow-up appointment. The sender of such a message is Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik), not the operator of the booking system, and it is strictly about its own similar services – never offers from other businesses or third-party advertising (Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll.). When we send the message is derived from your usual interval between visits. You can decline right in the booking form by ticking the box “Do not contact me when it is time for my next visit.” and at any time afterwards using the link in every such message; it has no effect whatsoever on your booking. We record your acceptance of these terms as well as any refusal, with the date and the version of the text.
If you have any complaints about a service, raise them with us using the contact details given above, ideally without undue delay after you discover the defect. Rights arising from defective performance are governed by the Czech Civil Code. If we do not reach an agreement, you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority under the paragraph on out-of-court dispute resolution below.
Which messages you may receive
- Booking messages – confirmation, notice of a change or cancellation of the appointment and a reminder, if the business sends one. They are part of the agreed service, so you cannot unsubscribe from them; they go to the email address you gave and, if the business sends SMS, by SMS as well.
- Appointment watch – an offer of an earlier slot or of a freed-up place from the waiting list. It comes only when you ask for the watch yourself, and it ends with the start of your appointment, the end of the chosen date range or via the link in every such message.
- Next-visit offer – a message when, based on your usual interval, it is time to come again. It is only about this business's own similar services (Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll.); you can decline it already when booking and at any time afterwards via the link in every such message.
- Free-slot offers – a slot that has freed up at the last minute. We send them only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the link in every such message.
Withdrawal from the contract within 14 days
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion, i.e. of the day you submitted the booking. It is enough to tell us clearly by email or letter using the contact details above; you may, but do not have to, use the model form below. The deadline is met if you send the notice before it expires. Withdrawal cancels the booking and we release the slot.
Appointment more than 14 days ahead. If the booked appointment falls after this period (for example a booking six weeks ahead), you may withdraw at any time within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason and without any payment.
Appointment within 14 days. If the booked appointment falls within this period, by submitting the booking you expressly ask us to provide the service at the agreed time, i.e. before the withdrawal period expires. You may still withdraw until the service has been provided in full; once it has been fully provided, the right to withdraw ceases (Section 1837(a) of the Czech Civil Code). If you withdraw after the service has started, you pay a proportionate part of the price for what has already been provided (Section 1834 of the Czech Civil Code).
Withdrawal and cancelling an appointment are two different things. Cancelling or moving an appointment online follows the cancellation rules above and is possible until the end of the cancellation period, even long after 14 days from booking. Withdrawal is your statutory consumer right: the 14-day period from booking applies regardless of the cancellation rules. If you cancel the appointment via the link in the confirmation email within these 14 days, we also treat it as withdrawal from the contract.

Personal data protection
Who is the controller
The controller of your personal data is Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik), Company ID 00000000, with its registered office at Veveří 12, 602 00 Brno. You can reach the controller at demo@bienaro.cz.
Why we process your data
- Handling your booking and providing the service you have ordered – this is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Booking confirmation, notice of a change or cancellation and an appointment reminder, if the business sends one – by email, if you gave one. They are part of the same service, not commercial communication (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Email offers: we send an offer of a slot that has freed up at the last minute only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every such message. The message when it is time for your next visit is sent as an offer of our own similar services under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. – you can decline it in the booking form and in every message.
- The waiting list and watching for an earlier slot – at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); details in the booking terms above.
- The “My appointments” page and verification before booking – a link to the overview on bienaro.com and, if this website accepts online bookings only from regular and invited clients, delivering a one-time link and code to the email address, or a code by SMS to the phone number, you entered (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The SMS code for signing in to the overview on bienaro.com is sent and paid for by the platform operator as the controller of the client account.
- Bienaro client account. You sign in to the “My appointments” overview on bienaro.com with your phone number and a code sent by SMS, which the platform operator sends and pays for; once the account exists, also with a password or a code sent to an email address you verify in the account yourself. You will also see your bookings with us in it – an appointment we booked for you ourselves is shown in full only after you confirm it as yours. If you answer that you do not know the appointment, we only learn that the number probably contains a typo, not who answered. The controller of the account data is the operator of the Bienaro platform, on the basis of its contract with you; we as a business cannot see into the account.
- Record of missed appointments. If the business marks you as a no-show on a booking, it records this on its own side – only this business keeps the record and other businesses on Bienaro cannot see it. If it happens repeatedly, the business may limit your online booking; we rest this on the legitimate interest in running the business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). A limit is always the business's decision, applies only to self-service booking on the website and expires by itself after 12 months without another no-show; you can always book by phone or in person. The business can undo a wrong mark within 24 hours after the end of the appointment. You can object to this processing with us.
- A request for a review after your visit and an offer of a follow-up appointment for the service just provided – we base these on our legitimate interest in feedback and in continued customer care (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time and we will stop sending you these messages.
- Publishing a review that you write for us: the text of the review is shown on this website and – without your name or initials and without the business’s reply – on the reviews page on Bienaro, that is the business’s verification profile on bienaro.com, where all of the business’s published reviews appear with their full text. The business can also display the same reviews – without your name, with the text (the element shortens longer texts) and the date – using the embeddable “Reviews” element on its other web pages. Everywhere, the review shows the exact date it was submitted (day, month, year). On the website a review displays the rating, your text and the first name you gave when booking. If you would rather not have your name there, tick “Publish my initials only” in the form – the website then shows J. N. instead of your name. The business still sees it in full. We publish the review with your consent, which you give by submitting the form after reading where it will appear (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by asking for the review to be removed (see below), and that does not affect the lawfulness of the publication until then.
We derive the timing of reminders and offers from your usual interval between visits. This does not involve automated decision-making that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (Article 22 GDPR).
You can have your review removed – write to us or to the platform operator at info@toucan-labs.cz; this withdraws your consent to its publication and the review disappears from this website, from the business’s verification profile on bienaro.com and from the reviews element on the business’s other pages at the same time (we do not currently offer removing it from just one place). The platform operator may hide or remove a review only for the reasons set out in the review rules: unlawful content, spam or fraud (a review that did not come from a real visit) and content unrelated to the visit or the service; before publication it may automatically withhold a review for checking. On request we will tell you the reason at info@toucan-labs.cz; if you disagree, write to us at the same address within 30 days and we will review the decision. The business can neither remove nor edit your review – it can only reply publicly, and if it does, we will email you its reply.
What data
Your name, phone number or email, booking details (service, appointment time, price) and the optional note you write with your booking. We also keep a record of the consents given and withdrawn, a log of the messages sent and any review tied to a completed visit.
Your name and contact details are a contractual requirement: without them we cannot handle your booking or confirm an appointment. The note is optional. Please do not write any health information or other sensitive data in it – it is not needed for a booking.
How long
Three years from your last appointment that was not cancelled, and if you have never had one with us (for example only a waiting-list entry), three years from the first contact. For that time you are our client, so we need the data to handle your next visits; after that it is anonymised and only a record without a name and without contact details remains. If you ask for erasure sooner, we remove your name and contact details, notes and waiting-list entries and switch off your consents; we keep the record of consents given and refused so that we keep respecting your refusal of offers. A published review remains even after that, just without your name; if you want it removed as well, tell us so explicitly (see above). What may remain is the record of missed appointments – it rests on legitimate interest; a limit on online booking expires by itself after twelve months without another no-show.
Who has access to the data
Technical operation is provided, as a processor, by the Bienaro platform, which is operated by Toucan Labs s.r.o., IČO 29931631, Husova tř. 1822/6, 370 01 České Budějovice; it handles the data on the controller's instructions. This operation includes the business’s public verification profile on bienaro.com – the reviews page on Bienaro –, where published reviews appear with their full text, without the author’s name and without the business’s reply, and the embeddable “Reviews” element that the business can place on its other pages (without the author’s name, with the text, which the element shortens for longer reviews). As a separate controller the platform operator keeps only one thing: the client account, if you set one up yourself on bienaro.com. We do not sell the data or pass it on to advertising networks.
Where the data is kept and who works with it: the booking database and its backups are on Hetzner servers in Germany, emails are sent by Scaleway from France, and errors and diagnostics are stored in Sentry in its EU data region; error reports are also sent from your browser – we clean their content of personal data, and the IP address is processed during the transfer. Website traffic (IP address and technical details of the request) passes through the Cloudflare protection network, which operates globally; any transfer outside the EU relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Phone notifications for the business's staff are delivered by browser push services (Google, Apple, Mozilla) only in encrypted form that they cannot read. Texts for the business's website and their translations are drafted with the help of Anthropic's artificial intelligence (USA, standard contractual clauses), which receives only the business's information and texts (this may include names of people, such as the owner or staff), never data from the client records.
Booking confirmations, reminders and codes sent by SMS are delivered for the processor by GoSMS s.r.o. in the Czech Republic.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, the right to have it corrected or erased, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Please address your request to the controller, that is, to the business named above. We will deal with it free of charge and without undue delay, at the latest within one month of receiving it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.gov.cz.
Details about the processor can be found in the privacy policy of the Bienaro platform.
Cookies
This website uses only functional cookies that are necessary for its operation and for submitting the booking form; it does not track you and uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
The operator of the Bienaro platform anonymously counts the steps of the booking form and where visitors came to the website from (which website and which link parameters, e.g. utm_source), in order to improve the form and so that the business can see where its visits come from – without cookies, without any identifier stored on your device and without data that could identify you. The records are deleted after 90 days. A booking also stores its source (e.g. Instagram), so that the business can see where people book from.
Accessibility
This website runs on the Bienaro platform, which aims at the WCAG 2.1 standard at level AA: the booking flow works from the keyboard, colours pass contrast, tap targets are thumb-sized and every page carries a language a screen reader can use. This is checked mainly by automated tests; a manual pass with a screen reader has not been done yet.
If something is out of reach for you, write or call Kadeřnictví Ukázka (ukázkový podnik); the contact details are above under operator information. Exactly what is measured, and what is not done yet, is described in the platform statement: Bienaro accessibility statement.
